Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Ms. Rediker is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) specializing in the support and advocacy of transition-age youth with special healthcare needs. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, in 2004. Following her undergraduate studies, she began her career in clinical research working in a schizophrenia research laboratory at Harvard Medical School from 2004 to 2006.
Driven by a desire to impact lives more directly, Ms. Rediker transitioned from academic research to direct clinical service. In 2008, she graduated with a dual Master's degree in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham and holds a professional social work license for independent clinical practice and supervision. This combined training equips her with a comprehensive understanding of both the systemic public health factors and the individualized clinical interventions required to effectively support adolescents and young adults navigating complex life transitions.
Throughout her career, Ms. Rediker has focused on empowering youth with special healthcare needs and their families, helping them build self-advocacy skills and successfully transition into adulthood. Her professional expertise is deeply informed by her personal life. She is the proud mother of two neurodiverse children, one with complex medical conditions. This lived experience provides her with a profound, empathetic perspective on the daily realities, challenges, and strengths of neurodiverse families.
