Megan Keyes, Ph.D.
Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Keyes received her Ph.D. from Palo Alto University in 2003 and completed her post-doctoral fellowship in Behavioral Medicine and PTSD at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in New Orleans.

As a seasoned clinician, Dr. Keyes has expertise in the implementation of evidence-based psychotherapies for adults. Her areas of specialty include working with individuals living with PTSD or Prolonged Grief Disorder, as well as couples experiencing relationship distress.

She is a strong advocate for the dissemination of evidence-based treatments in mental health care and served for 16 years as an expert consultant with the VA National Center for PTSD.

As an Adjunct Professor with Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Keyes is passionate about cultivating future mental health professionals through graduate coursework and continuing education workshops. As the founder of Trauma Empowered Consulting, she equips organizations with a better understanding of the profound impact of trauma, adversity, and stress on mental health. Through public speaking and educational seminars, Dr. Keyes provides science-driven, actionable strategies to promote recovery and enhance well-being.

Dr. Keyes is a member of the International Society of Traumatic Stress Studies and the International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy. She is listed on the therapist roster with both organizations.
